General Assembly Instructor

 

Roles & Responsibilities

· Responsible for positioning parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

· Resolve assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

· Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, gathering tools, and materials.

· Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

· Document actions by completing production and quality forms.

· Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

· Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.

· Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists.

· Gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.

· Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Lead.

· Strive to meet planned work center times established in ERP system

Educational Qualifications & Experience

· Minimum of HND in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering with a Minimum of 5 years demonstratable progressive experience/knowledge as General Assembly Instructor in an oil and gas drilling company.

Professional Qualification/Certification

· Any relevant competency certificate

· Must be a certified Engineer (COREN)

· Should be someone that can maintain a calm disposition while effectively discharging his/her duties in a chaotic or emergency situation.

· Ability to speak, read or write Chinese language is an added advantage
